Tech
Ok, so there hasn't been a whole lot for tech to do all. Like you know, our stuff is mostly at the very end. I got a few more forms this week.
The rest of the tech team has been asking me for stuff to do, but there really isn't anything at this point because there's not even a whole lot for me to organise. I'll be looking for some of the more difficult things people need this week (like iphones, ipads) so I'll probably get those guys to help with that.
Could you send me the exact dates for the exhibit so I can work out with them who can be there on what nights as well? As well as how long we'll have to set up? It's about 2 days yeah?

Layout is almost complete, changes will need to be made again as the
colour scheme is going back to gold and red instead of grey. Then
Anthony will make some additions/changes (including chosing a suitable
font) and slice it up before I put it together on the site.
Mark has been working on a flash intro, and I've got Ewen onto the job
of reworking the framework for student use.
Progress is good now.
Finance
this week finances reviewed the catering budget and emailed helen and jen the website invoice.
FINALLY, TASKS
Photography
For the past few weeks I have been liaising with number of students and planning the various different things needed for the shoot. With Henry we worked out our lighting requirements as well as body and lens requirements.
The shoot happened on Monday the 20th and we managed to photograph about 70% of all the students currently in games. The RAW (.cr2) file are now being processed by me with an estimate delivery date of Thursday to Scott. Equating to about 8hours or editing and cataloging time.
I am providing Scott with .png files at the requested 1200x1440 resolution.
For the remainder of the semester i hope to be working with the print and advertising team as well as helping Scott integrate the profile photos into the website.

Week 9
Curation
Once again, nothing to say here.
We'll just sit around for a bit.
Bec sent an e-mail asking if we are doing anything yet, so I replied to the whole group saying we're waiting on the blueprints.
Tech
Sat around waiting for emails to roll in. Going to compile them tomorrow's meeting so I can print copies for whoever wants them.
This next week will be making a list of things we need / can use.
It's looking like a couple of groups want an iphone or ipad for their games. Whether or not we can get a hold of any I don't know. I'm going to look into PC emulation otherwise in case they don't already have a way to do it themselves.

Web Design Weekly Update:
Now that we've finally got something decided to work off, we've
started making progress.
Mark is working on a Flash intro, and Anthony and I are working on the
design for the site itself.
Framework needs updating/modifications to cater slightly more towards
people who don't really know how to code HTML, while still giving the
freedom for those that do know HTML the ability to "tack-on" extra
stuff in the event the base framework isn't enough for them. Might get
Ewen to look into this as I'd kinda forgotten he's on my team and
needs something to do.

Cinematography accomplished Nothing =(
Print
set the task of beginning creating posters surrounding winstons mock ups. Due monday, so far recieved sams.

Week 8
Lachy : He said he has sent out several emails to game magazines including
Play, GameInformer, Xbox Magazine.
He said they havn't replied yet, so I told him to give them a call. Other than that nothing from Lachy.
Nina and Paul : I sent out a request to both of them last week to send me their progress and neither of them have replied yet. I'm assuming they havn't had any luck as yet.
I will try and get hold of them this week and see where they are at and will let you know.
Me: So I called up a list of Game companies that Paul said he hadn't done yet.
Big Ant, Tantalus, Blue Tongue, Torus, THQ, Pc Powerplay.
Out of that, Big Ant,Tantalus and Torus told me to email them details and they would get back to me. Which I did.
-Tantalus is a NO for any sponsorship but will try and make it for the exhibition.
I called Big Ant and Torus again to see where they are at.
-Big Ant (will talk to CEO and will call me back today, hopefully)
-Torus person was in a meeting and will also get back to me today.
Blue Tongue hand balled me to THQ.
-THQ marketing person is in Tokyo, will be back on the 21st(next week)
I will email him then.

to do our own thing; slow going but we'll be fine once we get the
